SEP & ECDP

Lowood State School has a Special Education Program (SEP) for school aged students with disability, as well as an Early Childhood Development Program  (ECDP) for children with identified disabilities prior to school age.

Students who have been through the Education Adjustment Program (EAP) referral process to determine level of support required and have an identified disability in the area of Intellectual Disability, Speech Language Impairment, ASD, Vision Impairment, Hearing Impairment or Physical Impairment, will receive support through the SEP. Lowood State School is an inclusive school, and supports are put in place to ensure students with disability are in included into the mainstream environment in most instances. A range or programs and support are available. Each student has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) with goals addressing their needs.

Contact the school for more information on the SEP or ECDP.
