​Lowood State School Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP​)

At Lowood State School’s Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP), we provide a supportive, play-based learning environment for young children with developmental delays or disabilities. Our program is designed to help children develop essential skills, build confidence, and prepare for their future learning journey in a nurturing and inclusive setting.

Who We Support

The ECDP is open to children from birth to school entry who have been identified with developmental needs in areas such as:

  • Autism
  • Intellectual disability
  • Hearing impairment
  • Physical impairment
  • Speech language impairment
  • Vision impairment

​Our Approach

At Lowood State School ECDP, we believe that learning through play is the key to early development. Our highly skilled educators use a range of strategies tailored to each child’s individual needs, fostering growth through:

  • Engaging play-based activities

  • Early literacy and numeracy development

  • Social skill-building experiences

  • Sensory and motor skill development

  • Parent and caregiver support

Session Times & Enrolment

Please reach out to our office for information on enrolment for ECDP and you will be able to speak with wonderful Head of Inclusion, Cobie Allinson who can guide you through the process. 

Our session times are dependent on needs and other enrolments, all of which will be dicsussed during your inital appointment.
