Hello and welcome to Lowood State School!
My name is Tiffany Rigby, and I am incredibly proud to serve as the Principal of this wonderful school. At Lowood State School, I am committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Our school is grounded with the expectations that As Lowood Champions we - focus on learning, respectful, supportive and safe. Additionally i lead with Kindess as a driver for all that i do and always work to create a sense of belonging for our students and school commnuity. I believe every child can achieve when provided with high-quality teaching, high expectations, and a nurturing environment. Our dedicated and passionate staff work hard to provide a rigorous and engaging curriculum, ensuring all students are challenged and celebrated in their learning journey.
Living within the greater local area, I feel a strong connection to our beautiful Somerset community . I am deeply committed to fostering a true sense of belonging at our school — for our students, families, and staff alike. Working in partnership with our parents and caregivers is something I value highly, as together we can achieve the best possible outcomes for our young learners.
At Lowood State School, we are proud of our more than 125-year history. Recent upgrades to our facilities, including modernised classrooms, refreshed outdoor spaces, and new senior play ground, reflect our commitment to providing a vibrant and inspiring place for students to learn and grow. Our grounds and cleaning staff work very hard to maintain this beautiful learning and work environment for all.
