All children are eligible to borrow from the school library. Encourage your child to use the library, to have a book out at any given time, and to treat books with respect. Try to find time to listen to your child read from or talk about the book she/he is reading. Your co-operation in seeing that books are returned in good time would be appreciated.
Children leaving the school on transfer should return library books and all other school materials. Parents are also welcome to borrow materials from the school.
Overdue books by more than two weeks will attract reminder notices. For longer durations, depending on the circumstances, there may also be a period of time where students receive a loss of borrowing privileges. In circumstances where the book is lost, parents will be given an invoice to replace the book.
All students in Years Prep – 3 are required to have a library bag.
